outside Temp

I have a question about the outside temp display. I have a 2000 Boxster and I don't have the outside temp display showing. I do have what looks like the temp prob up front in the bumper is there a way to turn that on ? I know I don't have the OBC any ideas thnks for the help.

On a 2000, the dealer can turn it on with their computer if you ask really nicely. They may charge the $100 or so for the computer hookup if that is the only reason you bring it in. Remember, they are being nice doing this as you are suppose to 'buy' the option when the car is new. Later models can not just be turned on as far as I know.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info man I was just at the dealer and paid 91 bucks to code a key remote . My wife took it to Hoehn and she really didn't have a good experience I was hoping to write off that dealer.

Joe: Mind Over Motorsports has a Porsche System Tester (PST2), give them a call and see if they could do that for you.
