NR: powder coating calipers

Due to various upgrades, my front and rear brake calipers are black and red, respectively.

I'm sure I would be faster if they were the same color. :?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a local shop that will sandblast and powder coat them for me?

Talk to them about heat-tolerant coatings. I don't know either way whether powder-coating can withstand the heat of brake calipers. They've done very nice work with many of my wheels in the past.

Dan-

Have you had any issues with powder coating wheels?

Do it polish like normal paint?

Does hot brake dust have any issues with it?

Thanks, Bob G.

Bob,

My black wheels are powder coated, 5+ years old and have been well used without a single flaw in the powder coating. It seems to hold up better than the original paint and far better than my kinesis rims.
