Leather vs. Leatherette

Postby MikeD on Wed Aug 08, 2007 11:06 am

Apparently my car has the Imitation/Partial Leather (KL) option. Which I understand means that most surfaces (dash, door panels, etc) have Imitation Leather, but the seats (where the body might actually touch the surface) is real leather. Can anyone confirm that this is true?

That should be the standard leather package with Porsche, though most other companies call that full leather even though only seating surfaces are leather. If you have an optional leather package you will see stitching on the dash pod along the edge above the gauges as I believe all of the leather upgrades included at least that part.
