Yes, Please! Maybe have Dan be his co-Driver?

That'd be great. Only problem is, the seat is fixed to the floor. No offense, but I like my legs from the knees down. I'm afraid you'll just have to live with me in IS, Paul. But don't worry, Monica will be in IS, too. (Boy ... I'm gonna pay for that!)
You stay in IS Dan...At least until Sunday.
And don't get too attached to that Dolphin.

DANG!! How do I get this bullseye off my back? I can feel the cross-hairs burning a hole in my shirt.

The above seats look nice. But I have a question. A lot of the seats do not say if they are SFI or FIA approved competition seats. Do the have to be for autocross.

Don't worry Dan, everything will be back to normal by Sunday afternoon.
chris914 wrote:Thanks for helping me. I just want to clarify that that non-SFI or non-FIA could be used. That’s if I’m correct from reading the following “If harnesses are installed and the seat is not an SFI or FIA approved competition seat, the entrant needs to bring documentation to prove that the installation follows the manufacturers instructions.”
When it says, “the entrant needs to bring documentation to prove that the installation follows the manufacturers instructions.” Am I correct that they mean the manufacturers instructions for both the seat and the harnesses?
Also, if the seat is not SFI or FIA what guidelines do I need to use to choose an allowable seat?
Is there something more then the following?
“When not using an approved competition seat, the following must be met:
1. All high back seats, including but not limited to those seats where the
headrest is an integral part of the seat must be equipped with a “Halo”
strap or similar device attached to the seat back to locate the harnesses
if the use of a Halo strap is part of the harness manufacturer’s
approved configuration. The “Halo” strap fits on the seat back and has
sewn in loops to locate the shoulder harness straps. This is not
required for approved racing seats that provide proper harness strap
slots.
2. “H” style harnesses installed prior to 2004 may remain if they are in
good condition and adjustment and if the use of the H style is part of
the harness manufacturer’s approved configuration.
3. Seats that eliminate substantial contact of the lap belt with the
occupant will be disallowed.”
Once again, Thanks!
