Time Trial safety equipment question

I have an AP car, which requires me to have a proper seat and five point harness for time trials. I have both these, but as a novice time trialer I will have an instructor in the car, and the passenger side still has the factory items. What is the rule for passenger side? Not that I want the instructor to be any less safe than I am, but I can't find a specific reference to it anywhere.

See section XIII A:
For Time Trial and DE, five or six-point harnesses are required for all drivers and passengers running in any Prepared class or higher and are strongly recommended for all entrants.

The key phrase here is drivers and passengers.

Wow, not sure how I missed that, but thanks for the help. It makes perfect sense.
