Craig,
That is import Tire and they are out of buisness.
The next closest tire place downtown is Lutz Tire.
2853 Market St
San Diego, CA, 92102
619-234-3535
Ask for Mike and tell him I sent you...

Not quite as casual as Don and Joe but prices are good and they have given us good service.

Does anybody know of a fair priced service place akin to this one in the north county? Surely somewhere in Escondido or Vista there is a small Mom & Pop shop that will do this kind of work...

Thanks for the Lutz tire info Steve. A friend that lives downtown was looking for a good spot

Forrest, i use Service Specialists, right next to palomar airport. They charge too much until you develop a "relationship" with them.

Not downtown but I just used Discount Tire on Convoy Street and I think they only charged me $12 for mounting/balancing 225/15's on bare rims.
