WANTED a set of used 964 C2 92- or C4 calipers

Postby martinreinhardt on Thu Jul 15, 2004 2:36 pm

I am looking for a set of used rear 4 piston brake calipers from a 964 C4 or C2 1992+ to upgrade from the 2 piston onces. Note: I have been looking on ebay for a while and nothing)

Willing to pay: $100-250 depending on condition.

Aren't these the same cailpers as the 944 Turbo (951) used :?:

Martin-

You might be on to something, the piston diameters are the same for the for the 4 piston 944 Turbo and the 964 and the caliper may bolt on, although it has a 951 series part number.

The 964 does use the same 4 piston rear caliper as 92-94 928's, it is actually part number 928.352.421 (&422).02, so you may want to look at 928's as well.

BTW The drilled rear disc on the 964 RS is the same as the 944 Turbo Cup and 968 with M030 suspension, part # 951.352.041.91.

Cheers, BG

Thanks Bob, the parts numbers are a big help.
