Strut Brace Pre-Stress

Postby helgeseg on Sat Aug 08, 2009 5:44 pm

Just installed a strut brace in my '86 930. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to determine the pre-stress, i.e. how tight should the brace be set?
Thanks!

I don't know how much difference a strut brace will make on your car. As for me, I cranked in two or three turns of tension which gave me more negative camber. Of course on my '71 the body is a lot more flexible.

Definately not a waste. You added one point for autocross points and some bling!
