Best Boxster Oil?

99 Boxster 34k miles. Is 0-40 Synthetic the way to go or is there a better approach. Not going to track this one.......for a while ;-)

0-40 Mobile -1 for a street car and don't forget to put in a LN Engineering magnetic drain plug.
Any good independent Porsche shop will have these in stock, no need to special order.

I use 5w-40 Amsoil European, a little more expensive but I feel it is worth it
