Recaro SRDs - (Attention Keith Verlaque??)

Those cools seats in your RSA.
Are they Recaro SRDs?
If so, did you have the seats modified to accept sub belts?

If not SRDs, what are they?

And for those looking at this thread, is Autobahn interiors the go-to place to modify seat buckets for sub belt slots???

Cheers

Craig

SRD's come with or without sub strap holes in the bottom seat pad.
And please don't ask Keith the lineage of those seats unless you have a lot of free time...
That being said if you have a set of SDR's without sub holes Tony @ Autobahn Interiors can do it.
SRD's are the only seat I know of that you can do this.
You can't just install a hole in any seat not designed for 5/6 point harnesses.

You should check before modifying any seat.

Quick question since I have the same Recaro SRD's (with the sub-strap hole): My car classifies in CC12, which requires a roll bar or cage and 5 or 6 point harness, but no mention of seat requirements. The fellow who did my tech inspection at the Auto-x thought that the SRDs might not pass tech at Chuckwalla since they hinge forward for rear seat access. My car is a street/track car, so I'd like to keep them, if possible, but will I need a fixed back seat for bigger tracks?

Thanks,
Charles
