Cayman S Suspension Swap

Postby J_DeLira on Fri Dec 19, 2014 1:19 pm

Hello. First timer performing this job and looking to make sure I'm as prepared as possible. Plan is to remove and sell my coilovers, GT3 lower control arms, and camber plates and install my stock suspension. Will have Jae Lee perform alignment when done.

Anyone out there done this job before and have any resources/lessons learned to share?

Here's the resources I've found to guide me through the process.
101 Projects for your Porsche Boxster Book

I'll be doing the job at the MCRD Auto Hobby Shop so I'll be using a lift, their spring compressors, and any other tools I don't already have.

I've already removed all the trim that covers the shock towers.

Any advice (or encouragement) is appreciated. Or if you want to join me, I'd certainly welcome that too!!!
