Has anyone installed or had installed a backup camera on a 2013 Boxster S (or similar model)? Anyone know where I can get one and approximate cost? Thanks!

MAXSPEED - MOTORSPORTS has been recommended in the Boxster forum?

:)

Thanks Buck, but I couldn't find anything on their website related to backup cameras. They are also in Miami, Florida which make installation difficult :)

Do you want it to be semi-OEM, i.e., display on the PCM screen when car is reversed? If so, I would call NAV-TV and ask them about solutions for your car, and who might be a good local installer, if you don't want to DIY.

Something like this would work, probably:

The kit alone is $800, total cost installed seems to run in the $1,000-1200 range, from what I've seen.

If you just want to see behind you, and don't care about an OEM setup, there are cheaper wireless "stand-alone" solutions.

Thanks Tom. Your suggestion about the NAV-TV RGB PCM Kit sounds like the best solution right now. I'll check it out further and see if La Jolla Audio has done these before.
