Greetings,
I need to top off the coolant in my 2008 Carrera. I know Porsche has it's branded coolant and that it is mixed 50% with distilled water. Online research seems to indicate that it is Pentofrost SF. Can anyone confirm this? Also does anyone have experience using Water Wetter additive? Thanks.

if you just need to top off, i'd add more distilled water.
Unless you are going to store car in Mammoth.............

What do you need to know about water wetter?

It is typically used as a "less slippery" alternative to coolant
and
provides some corrosion resistance as compared with straight water.

I'd consider use of coolant / water wetter as mutually exclusive.

+1 for just adding distilled water to top off, but why do you need to top off? Coolant isn't a wear item, and generally should stay full, if it isn't, you may want to look into where it is going very carefully.

Thank you Craig and Jad,

I got some Porsche Pink from Pelican. It took a liter mixed to top off. No loss of level following a 70 mile mountain ride. No external leaks. It goes to Mirage in a couple of days for oil service and a brake flush...I will ask Jae to check the system. Thank you for responding.
