Shop reviving a G-Series 911 S

Postby sdether on Thu May 19, 2022 3:54 pm

A friend of mine parked his 77 911S in an underground garage over 22 years ago because he couldn't pass smog and it's been sitting without being started ever since.

He's moving and finally motivated to bring it back to life. I suggested Black Forrest to him, who quoted him an 8 week lead time before they could look at it (personally that didn't sound too bad). I was wondering if there are any other shops I could recommend to him for this task.

Thanks,
Arne

Following out of curiosity.

(I have a 928 that's been in my dad's garage since 2004 without being started.)
