My track days are over, and I am putting my tow vehicle up for sale here in case anyone could use it. I am the original owner of this 2001 F-250 Powerstroke diesel truck. It is the Supercab model with 8' bed and has only 84,000 miles on it. It has the towing package and lots of torque, and has been constantly serviced, including the 100K service just a few months ago. The International Harvester Navistar diesel engine in these trucks is known as a "million-mile" motor and is the most reliable one Ford has ever used in the PSD line, IMHO. I used it for towing my aluminum enclosed trailer and race car all over the USA for driving events for 15 years with no problems. I would turn off overdrive and it would climb the Grapevine grade under cruise control at 60+ MPH.
As a bonus, I want to sell this truck with the lightweight aluminum Four Wheel pop-up camper it has installed in the bed that could provide accommodations at the track over a weekend driving event. It is a very lightly used 2009 Grandby model FWC, factory finished, ID #610066, with rollover bed/settee, queen bed upper, uninstalled dinette table, stove, sink, H&C water, outside shower, furnace, Flamma awning, two 100AH AGM batteries with 120W portable solar panel, Iota 12V/120V distribution panel & inverter, Fan-tastic fan, camper jacks, and steel rolling dolly. There is no refrig, that space is storage. I just used portable iceboxes. I am the second owner, since 2013, and have only used it for very occasional asphalt boondocking. It is in very good condition for its age. It has been basically mothballed since the Covid pandemic. The roof is leak-free and the vinyl siding and end boards are excellent. These campers are well known for their quality and are in high demand. Their light weight and low profile contribute to efficiency on the road. The new models are backlogged and sell for $28K+ new from the factory. I have all the original equipment documentation and manuals in a folder. I am asking $24K OBO for the package. Email me for more pictures and info or to see the rig in person. Thanks for looking.
