Hi
I'm looking to buy a set of 5 - 7mm hub centric spacers for 997front wheels.
Thought i'd ask here before buying retail.
Thanks

Curious - why can't you use the regular 6mm ones that have snug bolt holes (from aftermarket supplers)?
Thant's what use on Butch.

I don't think spacers that thin can be "hub-centric" in that they are not even as thick as the raised portion of the hub itself that enters the rim center hole, at least on the early cars. There is still some engagement of the hub and rim even with the spacer on. Only a thicker spacer that completely covers the raised portion of the hub can have a similar ring built up on the outside to bear the wheel load. I have a pair of the flat 5x130 bolt pattern, 1/4" thick spacers as in Paul's link I would sell for $20 if you want them.

These are the same ones that come with the factory 5mm spacer kit, and are a little nicer than the plain steel bolts you can buy from H&R. I don't think I'm going to use them any time soon, so I'd let them go for $75.

(I thought all you guys had 5 Porsches...)
