there's the sports arena, but the swap meet is there every weekend.
they do have car control clinics there occasionally,
not sure what the policy is for racing...

Sleep Train/Cricket/Coors Amphitheater has a pretty large parking lot with no light posts.

The satellite view seems to show evidence of driving events.

Might be worth an exploratory call, although I imagine Aquatica would use the lots during the summer months.

I ran there once with SCCA many years ago. There are no light posts, but the raised planter beds with curbs present a hazard and split the lots into fairly small segments that don't allow for a very large course. And as you mentioned, it is not available in the summer months when the water park is open.

Simple solution
Maybe there will be a Giant Kangaroo Rat at the Q and if so, its an endangered species and they won't be able to re-develop it

To piggyback on Gary's post, the Sports Arena might be a possibility if we were willing to do an early weekday. Mondays? No argument here for a 3-day weekend that includes autocross.
