Our stalwart Social Chair and Team are hard at work on this event, to include setting up a group app to allow us to easily communicate with each other. Fantastic effort! In the interim, for a couple like us who didn't go last time, a bit of a head start on info will be helpful. Also, it occurs to us that what we put on the Forum will remain for all to see, rather than just being see by the actual attendees (39 cars this time!). With these thoughts in mind, does someone want to give us a quick recap of what to expect? Noted via Google Maps is that a day like CA to Prescott will likely take up a day. On the other hand, Prescott to Sedona or Sedona to the South Rim are only +/- 100 miles. The mix between "driving to get there" and having "lots of exploring time" is intriguing. We know we're going to have a good time, but haven't decided yet which car to take, how much hiking to plan on, what a daily budget for non-included meals and gas might be, etc.. As stated above, we aren't trying to supplant the attendees-only group app, but are thinking others not driving this trip might find it interesting to read a bit about the upcoming event...before, maybe during, and after. Just thinking out loud....
