I had a great time this weekend.

I also took some pictures:

Very nice pics from both of you guys thank you!

A fun weekend overall. A little too warm for great lap times but the car ran well and we had fun. Danny finally mounted some real tires and managed to put down a decent lap even in the heat. See y'all in the fall. :burnout:

Great shots, Greg and Eric.

Interesting event. Some good times, some not-so-good times. Surface was bumpy, tired, and rough on cars (... no, it's not Qualcomm). People were awesome, the Pearl ran flawlessly.

I'm pretty sure I won't be returning to SOW until physical improvement to the venue and track surface are made. :? Dog Beach with the pups would trump SOW at 95-degrees and windy any day. 8)

Big thanks to Jack, Robert, and all the volunteers who made it as good as it could be. THANKS, GUYS and GALS! :beerchug:

Great pictures guys. I really appreciate you posting these. Big thanks to everyone as well for this event. This was my first Time Trials event and I had an amazing time. This PCA Region really knows how to put on a proper event and truly appreciate all the support everyone provides. Big thanks to Dan Chambers for braving through the weekend as my first Time Trials Instructor. :beerchug:

Thank you Greg and Eric for those great photos! Its been over 3 years since I have been out there and with the new car I was a bit nervous at first.
After a very short period of time it was like I never left , trash talk was in abundance...

Thank you Robert and Jack for a great event. I will have to disagree about the track , if you know where the issues are it was pretty smooth and not any different than it was 3 years ago
except a couple spots. I love this track.

Oh, I almost forgot can someone check on Steve Grosekemper? He said "Nice Time Dan" ( yes to me ) so I think he may have heat stroke.... :roflmao:

Thanks all!

No heat stroke and that was a great time but you missed what Greg said as the elevator doors closed. :?

There are a lot of volunteers who really give the extra effort in this club that is for sure.
But a big thanks needs to go out to Mark Curran who stayed back when everyone else was bugging out and provided "Street Cars" with compressed air to air their tires back up for their drive home. That takes forethought as well as a willingness to help.

I heard he also served lemonade and cookies while he aired up peoples cars; but that is officially unconfirmed...

Actually he was serving prime rib eye steaks that he was grilling to order :beerchug:

Here are a few more from the weekend. Many POC photos also sprinkled in there - I'll curate better next time.

If you want full res, just message me and I'll get them to you.

Thanks for another first class event.
