As one of the sponsors of the Concours with my photography, I would just like to say "Congrats" to the Concours Team and volunteers for the best Concours SDR has ever had. This has become one of the SDR signature events! It was also a pleasure to meet so many new members and get to see familiar faces in a great setting! And to you guys that found a treasure to take home, thank you.

John

A HUGE thanks to our Concours Chairs, Cara Lyn & Bob! They did an awesome job preparing and the event went incredibly smoothly! The final official count was 215 cars, from 1951-2017. (edit: Make that "1951-2018" as per Rick Fatuzzo's post below!)

I'm sure they weren't the furthest travelled, but I spoke with multiple folks from north LA who came all the way down for the day, just to show in the Display section and hang out with a bunch of fellow Porsche nuts...err, aficionados... Its a testament to the quality of event SDR puts on!

And how DO we put on such an awesome event? Volunteers. Club members just like you, sharing their time and efforts. This event requires a small army of people to make it happen. So THANK YOU!!! to all the folks who volunteered! And, if in the future you'd like to pitch in, but don't know how/where to help, just ask!

Cara Lyn, Bob....

Yes- This turned out to be a tremendous Event, and the approximately 215 Porsches did fill the whole parking area of the Spanish Landing Show Venue! Kudos- to Cara Lynn and Bob, and much thanks to Tom Brown for allocating a space in the TimeLine for my "BRAND SPANKING NEW" 2018 CAYENNE S, next to his 2017 Macan S. So, I guess my 2018 Cayenne S was the 61st Anniversary Car!! Rich
