Desert Tour

I want to give a shout out to our Desert Tour arranger, Garrett (plus his helpers). Will someone be posting photos? We had 23 (24?) AWD vehicles (mostly Porsches). The preparations and information provided were excellent. Having a radio per car worked great. Good mix of hiking, plus a lunch totally out in the boonies. Weather was perfect. Outstanding scenery in every direction. Great for the many kids along who had the chance to climb rocks and run around, as opposed to being strapped into a car for several hours. Yeah, it took me several hours to clean our car afterwards, but it was well-worth it! And yeah, I bought the obligatory pie at Dudley's; now mostly consumed. All in all, a fun day of friendship and driving :)

Hey Jim,
Thank you for the comments - that was a fun time, wasn't it? I rather enjoy the cleaning out the car part! :)

Here are some great pics that Bev took:

Nice job on your event Garrett. I heard good things at the board meeting too!
