Macan and Cayenne Tour Anyone?

Postby HowardG on Sun Aug 19, 2018 8:26 am

I sold my 2011 Boxster Spyder and recently got a 2018 Macan GTS. It is much more practical for me and I like the 2nd story seating in my old age...

After reading this month's Christophorus and Windblown Witness, I notice the SUV's being conspicuously absent. Maybe it is my imagination but are we not making SUV owners feel part of the fold?

I'd really like to see a SUV only day tour if you think there would be enough interest. I offer to help.

There was an off-road tour February 3rd, and I believe another is in the works. The organizer was Garret Guess. http://www.pcasdr.org/event/pca-sdr-cay ... ture-tour/

Please come out, your SUV is welcome at all the events, we even have classes in autocross for the SUVs.

Howard,
No sweeter words are ever heard in this club than "I offer to help". As a fully volunteer organization, SDR runs on the energy and enthusiasm of members like you. So your offer to volunteer is greatly appreciated and I've sent email to Garrett (mentioned above) to come check out this forum post and contact you.

As for the Windblown Witness lacking SUV content.....there's another area that any member's contributions are greatly appreciated. The WW is always looking for articles (they don't have to be multi-page novels) and pictures. Send them to editor@pcasdr.org

Cheers,
Keith
