Hands-On Wine Blending Event- For PCA members & their guest(s)
This is a fun and educational experience for all! Samples of pure cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc (the traditional varietals used in red Bordeaux wine) are presented on a labeled place mat. First, we taste each component wine and discuss their blending characteristics. Participants will be divided into teams. Each team will create a wine from their own group and submit it to a tasting panel. The tasting panel will taste all the samples “blind” and award a prize to their favorite one. This is a highly participatory and entertaining event.
