Final 2007 Time Trial Season Schedule

Postby jack miller on Wed Nov 29, 2006 2:19 pm

Feb. 3-4 - Big Willow
March 3-4 - Streets of Willow
March 30-April 1 - California Speedway
June 16-17 - Spring Mountain
Sept. 29-30 - Spring Mountain
Dec. 1-2 - Buttonwillow

Tried to get an earlier date for BW. They gave us May 12-13 which I thought was perfect, until Rob reminded me that that is Mother's Day. Dec. 1-2 was our only other option except August. So the above is it.

I hope you are plan to participate. Please start telling AX guys that 5 points will not be required in S and SS classes. That should increase the interest in our series.

P.S. If you TT'ers are interested in trophies for 2006, I need someone to step up and handle it. I have absolutely no interest in the trophies, so it's in your court. Neil Heimburge said he'd do it. Neil, if you're out there, email me.

Looks great Jack. Great call on not booking us for Mothers Day!

Its Vegas baby! :beerchug:
While I'd like to tackle Big Willow twice, adding Buttonwillow and having 2 Spring Mtn dates will be fun. Taking a tip from Jad, I'm thinking about staying over and driving home Monday for the Spring Mtn dates.

Thanks Jack! Should be fun - kind of surprise to see the relaxed 5-point harness requirement on "big" race tracks. Are we requiring 4K rev limiters on ss and s cars as well? What about the head and neck restriant system requirement? :?

Nice work, Jack! You managed to get 2 Spring Mtn's and a Buttonwillow when it's not roasting hot in Bakersfield. Excellent!

As for Pahrump ( they do have a lovely parade... by the way), I think you're right, Pete. I learned my lesson about the "LA-Vegas shuffle" this last time 'round. I'll stay one extra night and comfortably cruise through LA around noon.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to a busier year of TT's for me and the Mrs. 8).

Great job, Jack !

Might skip one of the Pharumps, another +1 on the Mothers day call.
Hmm..... might have to fill in with POC STS at Streets, April 1 to Late September with no track time
Yes, an extra night in Pharump is the way to go. Maybe another dinner at the Winery
