Curb Weight

Postby glenn_993 on Tue Feb 27, 2007 4:44 pm

Is there somewhere in our rules or a website, that will give me the curb weight of my 993 when it was stock? I'm trying to see how many points I need to take. :(

I'm hoping more points means less point bys.

It should be in your owner's manual.

This site shows 993 6-speed to have a curb weight of 3064#: http://p-car.com/specification.htm.

Thanks, that was what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it's going to mean a hefty amount of points. :(

Don't forget to add back your spare, jack, tools, and a full complement of fluids when weighing. Points are based on changes in curb weight, not weight as raced.
