Dano: It seems a little early to be checking the weather @ Willow. I don't think they can be that accurate this far in advance. We had good weather 3 weeks ago at WIllow though it was a bit cool in the AM. Sunday was beautiful.

See every body there.

Dano,

I don't know where you get your weather info from. www.weather.com says that for Rosamond CA it will be a low of 34 on Friday night and a low of 38 on Saturday night. The high on Saturday is supposed to be 67 with a high of 72 on Sunday. I like those temps better. The winds are supposed to be 8-9 MPH, about as fast as you'll driving on those snow tires, right?

Dave, I like your weather forecast better, also. My report came from AccuWeather.com. Maybe we should call it IN-AccuWeather? I don't know ....

As for the "snow tires" ..... you just wait, pal! No matter what I'm on, I'm sure to be sideways in front of you. :? Just like old times, eh?  I may be the only "front-engined" 911SC out there!

Dan you used to hang the backend out a lot with the 944, I can't wait to see how much you hang out a tail happy 911. I used to see the door of your 944, I may see the headlights on your SC. Can you go into the mountains with snow and not need chains with those tires? I'm just wondering how you can give a point by when you're going sideways, or even backwards. I hope those tires don't chunk too much, I already have enough rubber marks on my hood and a stone chip in my windshield.

Dano,

Looks like we may have high winds on Saturday. You get to go faster than 8 or 9 MPH. Seriously, they're calling for 20+ MPH winds with gusts to 45MPH. It looks better for Sunday. See you there.

Wow! Maybe I'll get some serious drift going if I get sideways and the wind hits the doors! A little extra push.

Man, I'm bringin' a wind-suit! BBRRRRRRRR. It's just like last year's SOW, remember? It might be windy, but at least it's a cold wind! :?

Dano,

Maybe you can turn your car cover into a sail and get a little extra speed going up into the bowl.
