I don't know where you get your weather info from. www.weather.com says that for Rosamond CA it will be a low of 34 on Friday night and a low of 38 on Saturday night. The high on Saturday is supposed to be 67 with a high of 72 on Sunday. I like those temps better. The winds are supposed to be 8-9 MPH, about as fast as you'll driving on those snow tires, right?

Dan you used to hang the backend out a lot with the 944, I can't wait to see how much you hang out a tail happy 911. I used to see the door of your 944, I may see the headlights on your SC. Can you go into the mountains with snow and not need chains with those tires? I'm just wondering how you can give a point by when you're going sideways, or even backwards. I hope those tires don't chunk too much, I already have enough rubber marks on my hood and a stone chip in my windshield.
