Tried uploading a new avatar, sized it to the proper spec, but was unable to upload it. Is this function working for others?

Dan C. posted awhile back in another thread about not being able to do that either, and Steve G. responded that it was a problem with the forum software after the last security upgrade. It must not be fixed yet.

You can update your Avatar image if you use,
"Link to off-site Avatar:" in your Profile editor.

You have to have a "valid URL" to use this function. My image from the 'C' drive files would not be validated.

Post your avatar on a free photo posting website (Yahoo, etc...) and copy the URL from that website.
