Ya, I would like to blame it one the trashed tires or the overweight car, but I think it just might have been that he drove better than I did. I did my best to rattle his cage as he was in pre-grid but I just might have motivated him instead.

His last lap was just about perfect. Perfect drift and throttle input.
Good Job Paul.
I am out of tire so you IS guys can go back to your fun.

Tight races

Postby Greg Phillips on Thu Aug 09, 2007 12:15 pm

There were several classes with close times.
IS with Paul Jr. and Steve G 71.73 to 72.02, with James Wilson and Paul Sr. also in the 72s.

JP where Bob McLaughlin's 72.45 nipped my 72.51.

KI (of course) with Martin Reinhardt 67.63 ahead of Jad 67.91 and Jennifer Reinhardt just missing Top Ten at 70.61.

Spec 944 with Sean Steele (72.09) beating Chuck Sharp (72.21) & Jon Kinkaid (72.82)

NSS with the Caymans of Duane Selby 74.47, Mark Vaden 74.65 and Mark Rondeau 74.85.

Then of course there was Carl Scragg's top ten in JS at 70.31  along with Kim Crosser's LSS 71.3 which were the top 2 in BRI
