Windy Video of Nat. Instr. Day :)

Here is a video of the good time we had yesterday at the National Instructor Training. The sound is bad because the microphone was in the wrong place.

Instructor training day

Postby Jackie C on Sun Sep 09, 2007 12:26 pm

Nice video Martin. Were you the "perfect instructor" or the "bad student"? I was lucky enough to be behind you two for a fleeting moment, some insight into the next level of driving for me. Pete Tremper was a good speaker and we all learned new ideas (and good track stories) for future reference. Thanks Keith and Dave for this opportunity. I'm really glad I got to participate. To the other 60 instructors who didn't take advantage of this fun day, "you snoozed"!

Isn't video editing software a great thing? You can cut out any segments of passing without a point-by!

Great video and a very fun day. I like how you cut the video off just before you lost it going into the braking zone too hot :P

Nice video. I had a little trouble hearing the instruction that was apparently going on inside the car, but it was obvious you were playing the "Novice Driver" role .... oh, wait. Maybe you were playing the "Perfect Instructor" role. Hmmm. No, that doesn't seem right, either. :? Gosh, it's so hard to tell what you and Jad were doing.  Obviously, you guys were having fun. 8)

Big thanks to Keith and Dave for the free day of driving, and the priviledge of being recognized as a qualified National Instructor for PCA. It's an honor for Monica and I to be in the ranks of these great teachers and volunteers. 8)

Thanks again.

Jad, I never realized how quickly your car can change directions until I watched this video. This was fun.

Jackie you drove the wheels off that car! Charlie and I had fun chasing you. He tried hard to pass you, but never really could get close enough before the passing zone. But, I heard there was an Alonso vs. Hamilton team order rumor, so he might not have been able to anyway.

Yeah yeah you guys, I know about waiting for a point by. But, I also edited out the slow hold up laps before I started passing. I thought the Drivers were being the bad Students and pointing Jad by but not me, as I was right on his bumper. :D
