Hi Chris,

You can check the database at

http://results.pcasdr.org/pca.php?database=

to see who has placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their class. In order to receive an award, the AX Chairs require a certain percentage of the events be driven. Can someone please clarify if it is 50% or 60%?

The AX Chairs will contact people if they want an award, because in the past, many people have not picked up their trophies.

Here is what Z-8 says...
XII AWARDS
Individual awards are encouraged at Zone Time Trials and Autocrosses.
Such awards should include the event description and finish order. Where possible, they should be presented at the site, immediately after the event.
Event Awards (Minimum)
1. One trophy for classes with two or three cars entered. Trophies
may be awarded for smaller (one-car) classes at the discretion of
the Event Chairman.
2. One additional trophy per two cars entered to a maximum of five
trophies.
3. Participation awards are at the Event Chair’s discretion

Here is what SDR exceptions to Z-8 rules are:

7. The Event Chair(s) shall determine how many of the years events qualify for the year-end series. This shall be advertised in the first three months of the year. To be eligible for year-end awards you must participate in at least 51% of the qualifying events for that year.

When checking the database for final places, don't forget that there is a "throw-out" this year. Each driver's lowest score of the year will be discarded and the totals of the remaining scores will determine the final year's standings.

For example, a driver with 20-20-0 (missed one event) would have 40 points, while a competitor with 15-15-20 would have 35 (lowest score = 15).

TTs

Postby Jackie C on Mon Dec 10, 2007 9:54 am

Don't forget that the TT awards will be given out at the same dinner. You must have accumulated points in 4 TTs to get a trophy. Your trophies will NOT be delivered to you as in previous years. Show up at the dinner, get your booty and have a great dinner with your friends at a jewel of a location. This venue has a very cool suspension bridge-don't see too many of those in San Diego.

Great work. Thanks to Jennifer, Jackie, Dave and Katina!!!! This looks like it will be a sell out. We'll need a bigger venue next year. Looking forward to a great party. :beerchug:

We have 15 slots left and are still accepting registrations. It will just cost you $20.00, which is still a great deal. We've strived to keep this a low key event. But we promise it will be fun. Jackie has been lining up a cast of Characters to present the awards.

I wanna go, as does my wife. Is there an electronic way to register, or just the snail mail?
