See? Some of you OC guys are alright! Add a couple of more points to your car(or count them all :D) and come play with your fellow OC residents in AM. There are four OC guys who run in SDR AM.

Breakfast will be sunflower seeds and Diet Coke. What's this I hear about free donuts at OCR autocrosses? 10 lbs = 1 hp

Count all the points and sunflower seeds for breakfast! ROFLMAO!

Actually, if I can make it back down to SD in the near future, I may run AM as that seems to be where most of the early cars are anyway. I also seem to do better as the "underdog" anyway. Not good for BRI but what would I do with a fish trophy anyway??

Once you have your Qualcom dates confirmed with your board let set a couple dates and get the word out to the other regions

August-December AX dates are posted under Announcements. Let the competition begin!!

I'm bumping this thread back up to the top because it seems that OCR has scheduled the first of these "David and Goliath" events for Mar. 16th at El Toro and neglected to inform the SDR about it! I guess if we don't know, we won't go, Steve?

I can't make it that day, and my FP car isn't ready yet anyway, but any of the SDR folks who can make it up there that day should try.

There are no San Diego August-December dates just OCR dates.

FWIW: I'm going to try and make a couple of events this spring. The surface is really easy on tires (as compared to the Q), and the track designs are usually very good. Hopefully, I can represent the SDR appropriately.

Those of you in North County (SD County, that is) should really try to make a few of these events. The track is almost as close as Qualcomm if you live in Carlsbad/Oceanside (just the other side of Lake Forest).

I'm sure Curt and Janet Y. will be at a couple of events. Hope to see some more folks from SDR, too. Jackie Co., Rick Syl., ... other North County dwellers???

The OCR AX is the day after the Tech Inspector's School, so it looks like another P-car weekend for Monica and me.

Ron- this was an old thread that I resurrected. If you look at the date of Mark's post, it was July 12, 2007, talking about the Aug-Dec. dates for last year, not this year.
