Anyone from SD go to Vegas? And none of that "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" stuff.

Where were all you slackers? Pete, Martin, David Gartner all said you were going at one point or another....

San DIego contingent included: Mark Foley, Bill Dawson, Vince, Paul Young, Neil H and myself (might have forgot one or two).

Weather was excellent, not too warm. Low turn out so they combined run groups on Friday and Sunday for the races.

Good clean fun, only one car to car incident that was not too bad (no tubs written off).

This was my first time on this track. It was alot of fun. Similar to BW but a little slower overall. Had its tight sections and rythem sections. I would definetly go back.

Ethan,

Sorry I wasn't there. I really wanted to chase our friend down if possible. It looks like you were about 2 sec faster than him. Why the DNF on Saturday?

Two seperate issues both with shifting. I was having trouble getting third gear (the cables where they mount on the transmission were loose) and then my clutch stuck to the floor (needed to bleed it).

Other than that, the car ran great.

Yes, I was faster than our 'friend' all weekend and was very happy about it.

Ethan,

I'm glad to hear there was nothing seriously wrong with your car. It sounds liek you had a pretty good weekend overall. I hope to be out there with you again soon.
