I'm so sorry to hear about this, Ted. It is shocking news. I know how much you love the car, and all of the effort you put into getting it in top shape really showed. This gives our Porsche community notice, though. We all might do well to invest in a Lo Jack. Also, the wider we spread information about your car and trailer, someone somewhere will be able to find it.

If that is indeed the car, I'd imagine that Ted was notified, but please confirm.

Yea, it's at Copart auctions here in San Diego. It has not sold yet. I bet they don't know the crash history of the car. For those that are wondering, the trailer and car were recovered in Spring Valley. The 356 was in the condition you see stripped of the motor and other items. The trailer was OK, just had Ted's graphics removed. The insurance company would not let Ted buy them back, so off to Auction they went. Once again, remember trailers can be towed off in seconds so protect your investments from the criminals!!! Chain your wheels, put a lock on your hitch, and don't put huge Porsche stickers on the side. As times get harder thieves get more desperate.
