POC at Laguna Seca

Postby JHPGT3 on Wed Jun 11, 2008 9:37 pm

A bunch of you have contacted me about participating as Time Trialers with POC at Laguna Seca. I believe I have everyone covered with the necessary approvals and instructors lined up for those who need them.(If you contacted me you should have received an e-mail from me).
If anyone else is interested, NOW is the time to let me know, especially since I'll be out of town and out of touch next week. AND, my spies tell me that registration will open tomorrow on the POC WEB site and I expect the Time Trial group (a max. of 35 total) will sell out in a few days.

Many thanks John for helping us PCA guys to get introduced to the POC events.

I'm looking forward to Laguna Seca. It will be fun because most of us in my new class already know each other from previous events. :-D

Yup.
Just registered.
Hurry up, limit is 105 entrants and this will get sold out very fast :)

Now I need to quiet the car down, will sticking bananas in the tail pipes work?
I saw that in a movie once :)

This a great event! however you may want to review the safety requirements first as they differ between PCA & POC. Here is the link;

I'm signed up.

Thanks for the hospitality, John. Is it still looking good for a PCA TT run group next year?

NOT "officially" sold out at laguna Seca

Postby mschacht on Sat Jun 21, 2008 6:10 pm

POC signed up for the basic block of time. If we get lots more folks that want to go, then we can rent more time, start earlier, stay later.

Register...www.porscheownersclub.org You may find yourself on a waiting list for a bit until we get the word back from the County of Monterey as to if we are getting extra time.

If the interest and commitment is there, we will* buy the extra time and add a run group.

In closing, if there is interest in PCA buying a run group in 2009, there are 35 cars to a run group.

* I don't make the decision...I say we because I am on the POC Board of Directors
