Who's going to Laguna Seca in TT or Race from PCASDR?

Greg:
I am going to Monterey for the Historics :D , but will not get there until Saturday morning as I am staying with a friend on Friday.

I will be returning for the POC weekend on the following Thursday (8/21)to make it in time for the Track Walk at 5:30PM. :D :D

(Kris - I don't think Greg is taking his 928 to LS!)

Can you get away with 2 out 2.5 diameter mufflers or do have to go all the way down to 2 out with 2 inch diameter mufflers?
fwiw 2 out 2" is my street set up.
Anyone going to the Monterey Historics this weekend?

I will be leaving Thursday morning

Greg

Greg, you were one of the loudest cars at the DE, according to the sound meter. Are you bringing the same car with the same exhaust?

I am only going to the Historics, I have to work on the POC weekend :x
But I do have experience with the noise meter at Laguna. I did a DE in 1998 on the Monday after the Historics with my red 1987 928S4 and got a warning in the afternoon session. The only modification on that car was removal of the rear muffler
It had the cats and stock front muffler and was still too loud :!:

I believe the output pipes are only 2"; not sure about the muffler internals.
