We will have "stick-on orange cones" for second and third place finishes again for this weekends AX and our future AX's.

We ran out of "cones" at the last AX so see me this Sunday at the AX if you didn't receive one.

We are also getting a megaphone for award announcements and better yet - for the track walk. It should be here by Sunday (I hope). Now we will really be able to not miss a thing Keith says!

And while we are at it, we will also be receiving soon some REAL orange cones WITHOUT black tire markings. First person to mark one will have to ??? receive special teasing and then give a speech!

I mentioned to Leigh Rayner during clean-up last week that it would be nice to have those 3' x 3' perforated rubber mats they sell at Costco for corner workers to stand on. I've got a couple in front of my workbench and one in front of the dryer, and it makes standing there much nicer.

Any chance we can free up some funds to give corner workers a little more comfort?

Beach chairs and parasols. Hah! That's silly.

Now, those portable hammocks on a frame with a patio umbrella could certainly be on the table. Underestimate the importance of good rest and shade at your peril!

While we're on the subject of upgrades, I seem to remember seeing a prototype cone a few a/x's ago, something that could maybe reset its position if it's knocked away. Maybe that's where we can spend some useful dollars!

Don't forget the fruity drinks with the umbrellas and maybe a trained Labrador to reset the cones. How about a robot to wave the yellow flag?

How about the drivers just pay attention and promise not to knock any cones down, that way we don't need corner workers at all :beerchug:
