Paying for Trailering or ownership in multi-car trailer?

Postby sean996 on Sun Oct 31, 2004 6:15 pm

Anyone looked into paying to have a car taken up to a track? I guess Willow since that 's the next event.

Or, anyone thought about buying a multi-car trailer and offering a service? How about group ownership . .. club ownership . . . company ownership/sponsorship?

I'm open to ideas . . I'm sure I'm not the only one that avoids the TT events partially because of the trailer fiasco.

Quite a few members have trailers that you could borrow/ rent so I'd try posting an offer to rent. There are rental places (I think Kary knows one) that have trailers but some prohibit leaving the county for some dumb a** reason.

Sean,

I believe Lewis and Tim C will rent their trailers for events. You might try them.

It's not just the trailer . . .. it's the tow rig also.

If sombody has the pulling power, I was thinking maybe it would be worth while investing in a multi car trailer? I'm thinking down the road a little bit . . . just trying to ease the pain/cost of buying/setting up a track car, a trailer, and a tow rig that'll make it over the pass over 50 mph.

Thanks for the info on getting back from WS everybody . . . sounds like you won't leave me sranded there .. . of course unless I deserve it!!!!
