Yep...that was my photo...Riverside, turn 7 in 1968, SCCA. That's a pretty cool website.

That was Dick Barbour (Dick was Past president of San diego Region in 1967) with his first race car that was sponsored by his shop "Automotion" (Porsche sales, repairs and race prep) in Mission Gorge. I had the sister car(the same year Porsche Roadster, just like it) also with "Automotion" on it for SCCA racing (boy do I wish I had that car back).

After the Roasdster Dick had two 904s to race in SCCA.

About 2 or 3 years after that, Dick built a Porsche Dealership where Carl Burger Dodge (Jeep) is today in La Mesa, by that time he was racing a 908.

Great memories!!!! It's fun just thinking about that past stuff...Thanks Mark!
