Friend of many and member of the SDR Porsche club for years, Bill passed away Sat 12/13th due to complications from Lou Gehrig's disease. He never complained and he never gave up. He was proud to say he could drive his Porsche up til the end. He is survived by his twin brother Ed and several immediate family members. There will be a memorial Jan 2nd @ 10am at the Stephens Catholic Church in Valley Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Bill's 4H Memorial Fund" Cal Bank and Trust, 29124 Valley Center Rd. Valley Center, CA 92082

This is sad news. My condolences to Ed and the rest of Bill's family. I always enjoyed events where Bill and Ed would share their bright Green 356 and drive like the wind. His smile was contagious. He will be missed.

I saw Ed on Friday. While the situation was not good, it sure did not seem like this was expected anytime soon.

Our condolences to the whole family. This is a true loss.

Best Wishes,

I read about Bill's death this eveining in the local Valley Center paper. I had the opportunity to chat with him for a short while this past summer when I stopped in to buy some racing fuel. I had last seen him at the 356 Concours in 07 and it was apparent, sadly, that the effects of the disease was taking it's toll. My condolences to his brother Ed and the rest of his family. Nice guy and I am sure he will be missed.

Very sad news. Bill was one of the first people we met in 2000 when we joined. He was always upbeat, and friendly. He will be greatly missed.

Our condolences to the entire Bohorquez family for their loss.

Yes, sad.
Getting to know people in the club is fun, but keeping the 3 Bohorquez brothers straight was always a challenge. I hope we get to keep seeing the green 356 ripping around. When I was younger, I always thought, "Those guys and their little car were from another time in PCA." And it was cool to have them and their vintage car at every event. :)
