Even the rural areas have to now--trust me Ilive in Elsinore(doesn't get more rural than that)

Parts of Valley Center and Borrego must be more rural than Elsinore then...

I believe it's Descanso that requires a smog only when the car changes ownership. They also have a PO Boxes. You could "move" to a PO box in Descanso. Course you'd have to go out there and get your mail. I've heard about a lot of Smog Police activity lately. So just getting just DMV mail in Descanso might land you in more trouble than you want.

I do understand, I'm dealing with the same crap on my '02 Boxster S. It passed smog 2 years ago with the same Dansk header and cats. So it *should* pass fine now. Black Forrest doesn't like to do this sort of work on newer cars. Already tried them myself. If you can get an appointment at Dieter's that's a good option. I've been getting help from Jae at Mirage and Ryan at RSR.
