+1 got pulled over this weekend because...get this... I scared an old lady when i passed her legally (no offence to older women my car is loud) and she called 911 and insisted on a "citizens arrest" she pulled over with the cop when he stopped me to confirm it was me driving recklessly.

I told the cop that unless he has video he's got nothing cuz it's her word against mine. Oh and by the way officer I do have video, it goes on every time i turn on the car. He relented and gave me a "fix-it" ticket. :surr:

I'm like.. so let me get this straight... when a teenager almost hits me b/c they are texting and decided to cut over 3 lanes without looking (this just happened to another GT3 friend of mine in Norcal, and messed up his car good. She got out of the car with the phone on her shoulder still talking!) I can call and demand a citizens arrest b/c you'll get like 10 calls a day. Am i understanding you correctly? He's like...well no...not really. :surr:

I'm not one to take crap like that without a fight. I am a New Yorker for crying out loud.

I warned you about using little old ladies as moving chicanes. You have to do a late apex on 'em.

Well, sounds like you might be putting that stock exhaust/Cat. Conv. back on afterall. Might as well get it smogged while you're at it. :roflmao:

Actually the only mufflers i have are on Martins GT3. So it's bypass pipes and stock meows and manifolds. :banghead:

This state is so uptight. In NY they couldn't care less what came out of the pipes so long as your blinkers and horn works (essential for survival in NYC even though using your horn results in a ticket.) :banghead:

Did you ask the cop how she kept up with you AND call 911 at the same time? Unless she had bluetooth (unlikely) she just admitted to driving with the cell phone. It would have been funny to get her a ticket.

I don't have it handy, but my recollection from reading the blurbs they put out on the new law is that all calls to 911 are permisable, hands-free or not. So, sadly, she would have skated on that...

I'm not sure about NY. But I do agree that this state is very uptight!
