AX pocket reference run group chart

A place to hang out and discuss all things Porsche.

Shall the pre-reg team continue to provide a run group chart in the AX driver's envelope?

When the run group order was posted early, we'd get people coming to the trailer early asking if they could change their order mostly so they could leave earlier. It is pretty crazy busy in the trailer in the morning and this created more work, time used, less balance of the amount of cars in groups. If it wasn't posted early, it was just crunch time and usually nothing could be changed.

Saving $$ is good too, especially this year! If the Registration team decided to save club $$ in color printing and paper, and post the run group order early, an absolute no-change policy with regards to run group order may help.

I like the convenience of having a pocket reference, but the old system does work.

Janet:

What about printing the schedule on the envelope? I notice you print the name, run color and Instructor/Driver status on mailing labels and then attach them to the "blank" side. Any way you could pre-print the envelops for a particular event with the Daily schedule on the "blank" side? You could then put the "mailing label" on the "flap" side ... maybe on the flap? Now, you have the schedule on one piece of paper (the envelope), Jad can review the day while waiting in Pre-grid for his valet to show up :roflmao: , and you save on paper?

Just a thought....

I like the Daily schedule and carry it with me all day.

I found the charts useful - I'd be happy to see them in the future.
