June 15 DE at Fontana - max. 80 drivers

We're now 2 weeks away from our first event on the infield track at CA Speedway in Fontana and we already have 65 drivers registered.

We intend to limit the number of drivers to 80 so that everyone gets maximum run time. Don't lose out on a great opportunity by waiting too long to sign up.

Cool! The numbers are look good. My question now is: How many run groups will there be? 3? 4? 5? With 4 run groups at 65 drivers that's about 16 cars per group; not too crowded on a course that long. With 80 drivers that's a little busier at 20 drivers, but still manageable, I think. Of course, if there are 5 run groups with 80 we're back to a slightly more comfortable 16 drivers.

Regardless, it's going to be one fun day. The Black Pearl is tuned, re-fitted with fresh brakes, and has fresh tires. As the saying goes: "It's tiiiime to Ruuummmmmble!"

I hope Sean Steele brings extra tapes for his video camera. I hope Mark Rondeau brings extra parts for his 944S (Just kidding, Mark). I hope Chuck S. brings extra tires .... maybe even new ones ... for a change. I hope Jackie C. brings .... well, just brings it! I want to see if I can catch her ... for once. I also hope Leigh R. is there with the '24S. Man, he makes that car scoot!

It's gonna be a fun day! Come out and play!
