What's the plan, Man?

Postby LUCKY DAVE on Thu Sep 10, 2009 8:51 pm

So...what exactly are we going to be doing on Dec 19th?
Are we going to have a (free....yipee) timed instructors only AX, where all cars are required to have two occupants for all runs and no one is allowed to drive their timed runs in their own car, and a trophy girl?
Are we going to conduct another DE school? The last one was well received and beneficial to attendance at future events, and -in my opinion - served to prod many AXers "off the fence" to get started participating in DE's by making it easy and less intimidating.
Are we going to have another "alternate car" AX where 1967 Buicks with farm tractor tires driven by marauding Vikings are encouraged?
Something else?
Has anyone actually thought about it?

If a husband is in the forest and says something.......and his wife isn't there to hear it.......is he still wrong?

Back to the original question......
There was some discussion/rumor about holding a DE school or instructor day in lieu of the alternate car AX.

What ever happened to those rumors , did their mommies call them home for supper? Batteries went dead? Expiring minds want to know.

I think the 12th is still the Other-Car AX.

The 19th is some sort of instructor fun, training, certification, or DE day, TBD.
Probably if you whine enough, or make noise like a tree falling, you can have a "voice" in what the region does on the 19th.

While I'd like to put Kelsey through a DE school, I'm good with whatever the crowd wants to do. With real school (USD) having started, she probably won't have time anyway.........
I'm more curious than anything else.
