Most of the databases show all kinds of funky listings. Drivers are listed a couple of different times and it seems to be because of car year and/or designation. I'm shown driving a 1988 944S, 1988 944, 1984 944 and a 1970 914 (???) in GS. I'm pretty sure that I drove the same car each time I was in GS.

The 914 problem should be fixed

I checked the driver history page against a sample of the raw data files from the timing program each time the online page says your car changed. What I found was that it does match what you were registered with in the timing computer. So if anything is wrong, it has been wrong since registering for those events. In other words, what you see on the results website is the data we have for you.

Mine isn't the only one that looks strange. The system now wants to give a separate line and total for each car year and/or type for each driver. It just makes the season standings look disconnected. Seemed like it was better before.

Thank you for all you do for the club and for working on the database. I know it's a pain in the ^$$ and it is appreciated.

It's not a huge deal, but prior to 2006, my car number was 959. The results page currently shows car number 53 for all years (you wanted to know about the bugs, right?)...

Tom,
Not sure where to start, but as Russell mentioned, the car numbers have all been changed to the current number.
The TT database has completely incorrect statistics on the "overall place" column and also much of the BRI is completely off.
A spot check of the AX database also shows the BRI to be way off. Haven't checked the "overall" column yet.

I can supply specifics if needed.

The car number thing is a feature. :) I'm making this work consistently with timing and registration, the start of this was to fix some bugs caused by how it treated data differently than the timing program. Now it works the same way, to fix those bugs. Of course I created a few new bugs along the way, but we are catching them.

I will need more detail on the overall/bri issue, my two minute look didn't see any problems.
