AX Numbers

Postby Crash Brown on Fri Dec 11, 2009 10:34 am

Quick question from a newbie. Can I change my AX numbers that were given to me. Just accepted what was available, but now that I've put some thought into it, I would like a more personal touch. Any help is appreciated.

Hola Crash,

Welcome to the forum and the Region! You will finds tons of helpful people and more answers than you might imagine when you ask a question. (all given in a spirit of helpful assistance of course) Fortunately this is an easy one, as I experienced it recently myself. Yes. You can request a number change, the new board is coming in and I am unsure who is going to be the contact person on matters like this. But a few emails took care of my number search and I got #123.

As you consider possibilities I would give you a heads up that the standing policy (as I was told) is not to assign two digit numbers to new drivers as those are held for folks who stick around. Accordingly you will want to think in 3 digit terms 8) . I think I deleted all the emails from my number switch but I will check and try to find a link for you and PM it.

**EDIT** The email I had is no longer in my inbox. Sorry. But I am sure someone will send you a contact soon.

Again Welcome!

Thank you Mr. Magus,
Also I notice different tags under the member pictures. How does one go about changing that (I am sure it is quite simple, but). I assure you, given time, my questions will become much deeper.

If you mean the 'member', 'autocrosser', etc, it is based on the number of posts you make to the forum. Get posting if you want to race!

If you are talking about your car number for events, I can change it for you tomorrow at registration. Come by the trailor and we can see what is available.

Daaaaaang! You shouldn't be called Crash...but Slick instead. Thats the way to score a 2 digit number rather than a three.
