Results for Feb ax are up...

.16 seconds Mark K?? :banghead:

Erik, I thought I was close to you in practice and then...

Nice driving everybody! I hated the track in the beginning but it seemed to open up a bit before timed runs and had a little more rhythm . Although if we could make them a little wider??

The auto-x chairs are having to come up with some elabrate tracks to make use of the good pavement (whats left of it) in the parking lot. Not an easy task. As Dan said, first impressions track was a bit narrow and tight, but some how at the end of the day decent speed could be maintained.

Dan and i got our giggles for the day when i gave him a few laps with our practice/drift tires on :roflmao: alwasy fun to try an drive a drack with oversteer in every corner! I got decent in-car video of my timed laps, but the camera really should have been rolling with our practice tires on. All in all had a blast!, an i'd say the smurf has still got it! thanks Dad! haha

Lemme guess...and then a fresh set of V710s went on the car for timed runs. :D

+1, but I never had a chance to get to liking the track since I broke after the first session. I know the pavement situation sucks, but that had to be the narrowest, busiest track we have had in a long time. With one skinny lane in a lot of places, it was hard to just stay between the cones, much less make any choice on the best line.

Erik, if you keep winning TTOD and the BRI indexed time AS WELL, Carl is going to have to raise the IM index to 1.3!!!

Yes - a bit "Thank You" to all those drivers who carefully removed some of the cones in the tighter corners - especially in the chicane before the big downhill run! :D That really opened it up and let us throw the cars through a lot faster.
The best part (IMHO) was the off-camber right sweeper leading up and around a left apex cone and then through the little right/left jog before the turn to the slalom. The first few times through there I was sure I had to lift before the left - you had to ignore the optical illusion that there was a fairly sharp turn there, and then find that you could drive it flat out.
I thought I drove the wheels off, and I was thinking that my last run could have won the BRI if I hadn't picked off the cones right at the finish, but then I saw the posted BRI numbers. Erik would still have beaten my third run by over a full second. I would have had to run a 1:20.68, for an 8th TTOD (in LSS?), to catch him in the BRI?
I think we may need a new BRI class just for Erik.

During the first few runs, I thought the track was way too tight, but about mid-way through the second practice session I got to liking the track, and with a few of the sharper corners softened a little, it became a pretty interesting and fun run.
