Results now default to showing in minutes:seconds. Thanks to Tom Brown for that and for posting the results so quickly. And thanks to all the drivers who came out to support the event.

Robert and Jack, Thanks for another great event. Anyone who missed this event missed a ton of track time on one of the best tracks we run.

Thank you Chuck and Debbie for letting me drive your car for timed runs and Billeye for letting me experience an "upgraded" 944.

Jackie, way to drive the wheels of your car. Best time of the weekend when it counted and a new GP record. Great job! :beerchug:

You people are killin me! I am totally jelous! I didn't attend because I dont qualify to drive yet, but the salt in the wound was driving home from church last night and seeing a motorhome towing a 911, then several trucks with enclosed car trailers (I just KNOW they were Porsches in there  )

I'm teasing...well sort of. :roflmao:

I must give props to Paul Young my Dead Pets Racing team mate who had the number 2 BRI....and a non-functional 3rd gear on Snickers when he did it. :beerchug: The May 15 AX will remedy the qualifying issues for me and I will be attending in September. Congrats to all on what sounds like a wonderful event, I look forward to some in-car vids when you post them.

Did your car break, Mark? Great job by Jackie, for sure, but I see a 2:44.38 in your lap charts so it looks like GP would have been another close battle if it hadn't. You two are chasing each other hard every event, and I wondered what happened when I saw Jackie on top by 5 seconds in timed runs. Sometimes you're the windshield, and sometimes you're the bug....

I see Jim D. in the results, but where was Jad? Scheduling conflict?

Great event, great driving by all. Mark was very fast until he wasn't. He broke early and after seeing his times, I've mastered turning off my transponder periodically. Debbie Sharp did incredibly well in a very tired 944. Check it out, bested her time by 3 seconds?! Thanks to everyone, Jack and Robert, and mostly Phil for making the adjustments that counted. See everyone next weekend?!

Tom, The car broke. Probably the #2 rod bearing. I have a spare motor and hope to have it installed this week. The Sharps were kind enough to let me drive their spec car in timed runs and I had a lot of fun instructing Debbie, Cathy and Rob and riding along with Bill and Chuck. I also got a taste of what a 968 can do. I can honestly say that I've never had a better weekend with a broken car. Thanks everyone. We have an amazing club and it really is the people in it that make it so.

+1. With a prior commitment to Monica and a Garden Tour, I had to sit in the front yard answering the same question a hundred times ("No, we don't use professional landscapers. My wife does all the work."). :surr:

After seeing the photos, I'm gonna dip in to the favor bank hard to make the next Spring Mtn. event. It's been so long .... :banghead: ... the last time I was at Spring Mtn. I owned a Porsche with the engine in the wrong place. There were no buildings, just a large ashpalt lot and a Quonset Hut made of canvas. In fact, I think we used the Flag Team from Bedrock for Corner workers; Barney, Fred, Wilma, and Betty. Dino kept an eye on our cars in the pits. :roflmao: Ah those were the days...

I think it's time for me to step up and quit making excuses ... :surr:

Otto; nice spin, dude! Got a vacuum?

Jackie, nice driving. Mark: bummer about the car, but like a Phoenix ... you will rise from the ashes! To the rest of you Lucky B*stards, see you in the fall.

Thanks to all for a great time, especially Jack and Robt. for all they do in putting these events on, Steve Grosskemper for helping me with my car, Jim Duncan for advice and moral support, Jackie and Phil for the cocktails and overall hospitality and everyone else for their friendly support.
Kevin Reynolds, Chris Pedersen, Robt. DeRose and I all agreed, "we got to do this again"!!
Curious how the wind on Sunday compared to previous Spring Mt. events?

That cloud you saw turned my car "desert black". thanks Steve for fixing my loose belt so I could run my timed runs. Thanks to JAck and Robert. Love that track. Just wish it was closer. Can't wait to see the video of my spin. Why did I think I could follow a GT3 through turn 2? :surr:

Fourth gear was grinding too, so my time was over a second worse than with just third gear missing! :surr:
But even if I duplicated my best practice time, I still would be way behind Otto. 2:32 - Holy smokes did he pull a rabbit out of the hat?!

Also, there was a big POC event (triple Crown) at Willow that weekend, so some of the cars/trailers may have been from that event (I was torn on which to attend).
Still, we'll save plenty of track time for you, Mark!
