But with the second complaint we asked the compliance officer if he really wanted to go there because of the numerous trailers, RV's, etc. incorrectly parked in Chula Vista. We were there at the time he wrote the ticket. He stated the law is the law. I can't and couldn't argue with that. So 3 days later a list of over 50 violations were delivered to the compliance office with accompanying complaints and a statement that when we got more time more were to follow. We were never bothered again. There are times I find myself not being very nice, but the law is the law. :x I have a legal place not in my front yard to park it now, but not because of the compliance officer. Just because I got tired of it in my front yard.

Walking the dog last night I came up with ... 18 houses in a 2-block radius with "vehicle abatement violations." Maybe I'll start filing as well. After all, "the law is the law."

Thanks for the good ideas, Ron.

Careful on that road DC it usually escalates into some small scale police state where everything is reported and then the police ignore every report they get. Barking dogs, lawn sprinklers, noise during "quiet times", and the list goes on.

I only filed because of their singling me out. I have no complaint if they are not selective. My guess is they did not want the trouble of my filings thus did not really want to do their job. There was no complaint filed on me only someone from the city driving by. The law is the law but it should be equally applied.
