I even liked the 180 degree turns as it reinforced (to me) the idea of slow in-fast out.

When I was corner working it looked more like pitch and catch.

I too found the course frustrating. The problem was there was no variety. Most of the corners were about the same radius and angle plus the distance between them was about the same. This favored some cars more than others depending on your gearing and tires.
I always seemed to be between 2nd and 3rd gear. :?

Great point, Herb. Unwittingly, I think I have built a car suited more for TT and DE driving than AX'ing now-a-days. So, perhaps I'll just save my AX money for the out-of-town events. Race budgets are a bit restrictive. Can't do everything.

If a straight is what you want, there's a DE at the end of the month. My $.02

That's good! Perhaps I'll finally get to stretch the legs of the 3.6L. The last time I felt the floorboards with the throttle was at the PDS.

Hey, do you guys have crackers and cheese to go with all that whine? I think the track was very fun and fast in some places. I found it extremly challenging but very enjoyable at the same time. Don, Jerry and Andy thanks for a great track and I would love to see it again along with my 7th top time of day finish. Hey Dave(cajundaddy) looking forward to racing with you at Buttonwillow in the fall.
